Residential U-drain™ features ½” wide, ADA-compliant single-slot intake that delivers efficient drainage with a clean, modern look. With no grates to clog, clean, or replace, it offers a hassle-free solution that blends seamlessly into concrete, tile, or other surface materials.
The low-profile design sits level with the floor, minimizing visual clutter and eliminating trip hazards. For garages, patios, and other finished spaces, there’s basically no sleeker or more visually appealing floor drain system on the market!
SIMPLE BOLT-TOGETHER ASSEMBLY
U-drain™ is designed for fast, straightforward assembly. Each section features end flanges with pre-drilled bolt patterns that align perfectly with the next compatible piece. Flanges are clearly labeled to guide the installation process, making it easy to connect sections in the correct order.
E-Z MOUNT LEVELING
U-drain™ sections come equipped with our EZ-Mount Brackets, making it easy to level the drain system before the concrete pour. Simply drive a length of rebar into the ground through the bracket slot. Once the rebar is firmly set below the finished floor height, you can raise or lower the drain section as needed. When the correct level is reached, just tighten the set screw against the rebar to lock the drain in place. It’s quick, precise, and built for jobsite efficiency.
EASY CLEANOUT
U-drain™ is designed with maintenance in mind, making it one of the easiest floor drains to clean. Our custom Cleaning Paddle allows for quick, effective cleanout without removing any covers or grates. Just insert the paddle through the slot intake, twist it 90° so it spans the drain channel, and slide it along the trench to push debris towards the sump pit. That’s it!
DURABLE DESIGN
Residential U-drain™ is built for long-lasting durability, with your choice of Galvanized or Stainless Steel finishes, both engineered to resist rust, corrosion, even in high-humidity environments (see White Paper for details).
Certified in both Canada and the U.S., Residential U-drain™ meets Extra-Heavy Duty (CSA B79-08) and Special Duty (ASME 112.6.3) standards, meaning it can handle safe live loads exceeding 10,000 lbs or 1,040 psi. The drain is specifically designed to channel weight into the surrounding concrete, delivering strength and support that matches your slab.
OPTIONS
SUMP PITS
Residential U-drain™ sump pits are compact and efficient, sized at 12”x12”x12”, with single and double inlet configurations available to support multiple drainage points. Each pit includes a 4.375” diameter outlet, compatible with PVC or other drainage connections for reliable water discharge.
Need more capacity? Residential U-drain™ can be easily connected to Commercial Sump Pits using a special adapter plate. Commercial models are available in 18”x18”x24”, 24”x24”x24”, and 36”x36”x36” sizes for higher-volume drainage needs.
SUMP LIDS
Residential U-drain™ offers your choice of Checkerplate or Slotted sump lids, both designed to deliver a clean, finished look once installed.
SILT STRAINER
In applications where solids or debris regularly enter the drainage system, U-drain™ offers a Silt Strainer Basket to capture and separate debris from liquid flow before it reaches the outlet.
GALVANIZED AND STAINLESS STEEL FINISH
In addition to our standard galvanized finish, Residential U-drain™ is also available in Stainless Steel. This option is ideal for food-grade applications, high-moisture environments or areas exposed to highly corrosive conditions. When hygiene and durability are critical, Stainless Steel provides long-lasting performance without compromise.
