HIGH OR LOW FLOW DRAINAGE
Stainless Steel U-drain is available in Residential and Commercial models to meet the drainage demands of a range of applications requiring low and high volume surface drainage. The Commercial U-drain (high flow) system comes in standard 10' pre-sloped lengths, supports flow rates over 950 GPM, and offers up to 240' of continuous slope with a center sump, making it perfect for heavy traffic areas. The Residential (low flow) U-drain system comes in standard 5' sections with a ½" slot opening, supports up to 240 GPM, and is ideal for smaller scale applications while still meeting the same structural ratings and certifications as the Commercial system. Both models feature a wide variety of sump pits and accessories to fit your space's needs.
SEAMLESS INSTALLATION
Stainless Steel U-drain is installed into a concrete floor, connecting directly into the rebar. Components bolt together for user-friendly assembly, with the system installed into the floor's rebar grid prior to concrete being poured and used as a center screed to maintain a consistent floor slope. Once poured, the narrow slot sits level with the floor for a low-profile, aesthetically pleasing finish.
U-DRAIN VS. GRATED DRAINS
Unlike traditional grated floor drains where multiple openings and edges allow dirt, debris, and bacteria to accumulate, U-drain's seamless, grate-free design significantly reduces contaminant buildup, resulting in a simplified cleaning process while maintaining a high sanitation standard. By eliminating grates and hidden crevices, U-drain provides a simplified cleaning process, ensuring no residue is left behind.

OPTIONS
SUMP PITS
Stainless Steel U-drain offers a range of sump sizes and configurations to suit any drainage layout. Standard sizes include 18”x18”x24”, 24”x24”x24”, 36”x36”x36”, with custom depths available upon request. Each sump is available in single, double, or triple inlet configurations to accommodate multiple drag lines. All sump pits feature a 4.5” diameter outlet compatible with PVC or other discharge systems to efficiently remove water.
OIL SEPARATOR (OSR) PITS
Oil Separator (OSR) configurations are available for all standard sump sizes, and custom depths are available upon request. The OSR system works like a skimmer, using an elbow connection between the primary and the secondary sump pits. As a runoff enters the initial sump (connected to the drain sections), oil naturally rises to the surface while cleaner water flows through the elbow to the second sump. From there, it’s safely discharged to sanitary sewer lines.
SUMP LIDS
U-drain offers a variety of sump lid styles to suit different environments and drainage needs. Choose from Checkerplate, Slotted, or Grated designs (grated lids available for 24” and 36” sump sizes only). For Oil Separator (OSR) setups, a fully enclosed Checkerplate lid is available to contain and manage fluid separation effectively.
ANGLED SECTIONS
U-drain carries 45° and 90° angled sections to accommodate changes in drainage direction, perfect for layouts that aren’t just straight lines. A T-section is also available, allowing you to create junctions between multiple drain runs. These options make U-drain a versatile solution for complex drainage configurations.
SILT STRAINERS
In applications where solids or debris regularly enter the drainage system, U-drain offers a Silt Strainer Basket to capture and separate debris from liquid flow before it reaches the outlet. For heavy duty use, a full sump basket is also available. This option contains all collected material and can be easily removed and emptied as needed – ideal for high-frequency or high-volume drainage scenarios.
FLUSH NOZZLE
For added convenience, U-drain offers a Flush Nozzle attachment for the end of the system. Connect a water source using a ½” polyethylene pipe, and flush the drain on demand, quickly pushing debris toward the center sump for easy removal. This is a simple, effective way to keep your drainage system clear and performing at its best.
